SiteMenu disappears in slideshow with new hot fix (Nov 17)

17 Nov 2006, 08:28

Afternoon!

PROBLEM: After installing the new hot fix (as of 2:15pm gmt+1) the
sitemenu disappears in slideshow mode.

NOTES: The only changes made were uploading the image
imagevue.swf and slideshow.swf as well as adding the line:
closebuttonalign = ILT to the slideshowimagevueconfig.

Thoughts welcome!

Im having problems locating the source of this issue - The worst thing is that I cant reproduce the flaw here for some reason. Can you please do me a few favours:

Check the following link:
https://www.photo.gallery/imagevue/nov17 ... temenu.ini
From where I sit, the sitemenu does not dissappear, but I have had someone check it that told me the sitemenu dissappears in slideshow mode. Can you confirm?

[Post edit] Can you also check this link:
www.photo.gallery/imagevue/nov173/?sitemenu=true

In your sitemenu.ini, can you try to set autohide = false and check your site again, see if it makes any difference? Please post URL ...

Also, from here it seems there might be another issue - I cant see the fonts in your sitemenu. May also be related to the update in some way.

Sorry about this issue - Im looking to nail it as soon as possible.

Morning!

I can confirm both of your links worked fine, no problems found.

I just updated my site's sitemenu.ini with autohide = false
Link: http://www.christophergrant.net

I'll continue working on it here as well, to see if I can't nail down
the reason. I'll make sure though to return to it's current state
though unless I come up with a fix.

UPDATE: I re-saved my background, sitemenu.ini, config.ini files
and uploaded them. After doing so, for whatever reason, most issues
seemed fixed. However, the menu still disappears when using
autohide = true. For the moment, I left it as autohide = true.

Hope this helps!
