Move docs and folders to root dir

09 Jan 2007, 10:56

I have ftp the upload folder and all works perfectly, but I now wish to move all the files and folders from the upload folder to the root dir. But it doesnt work.
I have modified the config.ini several times but no joy.

Could someone please help me with this problem?
Or am I missing something very simple, I just dont want the /upload/ directory displayed in the url when at the home page.

thanks Kw

It looks likes Imagevue is missing some file(s).
What did you change in config.ini?

You can try to upload all the files again.
Maybe that will help.

Thanks for the reply globetrotter

I have just changed the path again and only the path for globalpath

globalpath = www.charleypollard.com/

Seemed to have moved forward a step, which is good news, can you please help me in what I need to change in the other commands?

Like contentfolder =
folder =
etc

Thanks for replies and help

Oh Dear here we go again!

I changed the startimage =

And the; Error reading config file
came back again, so I changed it back, and it is still there

While before I had the loading and two blackstrips appear, but no background image.
Could it be our server caching or... something completely different.

Sorry again for the trouble but if you can help - GREAT!

When you upload the files and directories of your Imagevue to another folder as upload, you don't need to change the ini files.

An example of the default settings of config.ini: https://www.photo.gallery/imagevue/config.ini
