My problem: No thumbnails can be generated in the admin area by clicking "Create thumbnails for this folder".
But when I click manually through the list of all my pictures in the left box, thumbnails are generated instantly and no further errors occur by clicking the Create Thumbnails button again. So obviously it's not a CHMOD thing, because PHP can read and write properly, but why can not all pictures get a thumbnail without selecting each in the list?
