is there anyway to make it so your content folder can go three folders deep? as in:
content/groupfolder1/groupfolderA/imagefolder1
i want to make a folder that contains multiple series' so it would look like:
content/photography/series/redseries/
and
content/photography/series/blackseries/
can this be done, or no?

Im sorry to have to answer no to that question.
In the future, we will release a new version with virtually unlimited folder depth. In the meantime, you might want to consider a workaround approach:
- Create multiple content folders so that you ultimately create a 3rd depth by creating additional overhead levels. Eg.:
content1/
content2/
content3/
Obviously, you are required to publich multiple galelry links then:
yourgallery/?contentfolder=content1/
yourgallery/?contentfolder=content2/
yourgallery/?contentfolder=content3/
