Share Button

14 Feb 2011, 22:30

I have a question about how to add a new link in the SHARE. Maybe we can not visit some websites in China,so I need add links by manual operation. And I touch the“more”,but it always don’t have dialog box.
If I use “enter”key on the Google Chrome, I can scan content.

thx

I am not quite sure what you mean. Where are you adding links manually? When I click the "more" button, I see this:

Do you want to remove some of the sharing services in the "more" window?

Sorry, my English is very poor.

FACEBOOK, Twitter is blocked in China, and other sites ... so we can not use it, I would like to add these sites in the picture, but in the setting of the share options do not have these.

We only added the most popular global sharing features directly in the imagevue flash. Are those sharing services not available in the "more" button?

These services are not included in the native Imagevue sharing functionality.

For next release Imagevue X2.7, I will see if I can add a function so that you can add custom services directly in the flash. For now, you would need to rely on the "More" button ...

I tried to add Vkontakte service on the main share menu/

I've edited /iv-includes/include/config.xml line:202. there are the default socials options. i just changed one of the services to vkontakte.ru:
<services type="array" description="Select what services to display in the Share menu. The last button 'more', will display an extended list of services through AddThis on click." options="facebook,twitter,myspace,google,vk,delicious,stumbleupon,googlebuzz,blogger,linkedin,more">facebook,twitter,myspace,vk,delicious,stumbleupon,googlebuzz,more</services>
Names of the socials we can fing at addthis .com
So, after activated this at the admin menu setting, i have got vkontakte feature called "undefined"
Image

but it works! and postings to the social are right! the only problem is displayed name and icon.
waiting for new 2.7) or a help trick how to rename and add icon.

Well, I guess it makes sense that the button works. It won't load the icon though, until we release some update ... Also, we need to figure out a way to name it in the menu. As you can see, you added the array item as "vk", but I am sure you want it to say something else in the actual menu ...

We have now added support for adding any sharing services that are supported by the AddThis API. The update will be available imminently in a new release of Imagevue X2.7 beta (See topic).

The Imagevue share settings have now changed so that you can input any service you would like to display in the menu, as long as it is available from the AddThis API. You can see the full list of available services in this overview:
http://www.addthis.com/services/list

To add any service, go to admin -> settings -> misc.sharing.services, and simply add the Service Code in an array format. For example:
Code
email,facebook,twitter,kaixin,vk,more
Because some service codes are shortened, you may want to add longer display titles for some services. This can be achieved by appending the display title after a vertical bar in the array. If you don't add a custom title (which is mostly not required), Imagevue will just capitalize the service code name (facebook -> Facebook>. Example:
Code
email|E-mail,facebook,twitter,kaixin|Kaixin Repaste,vk|Vkontakte,more
The resulting menu output would be:

A few additional comments:
# We have reduced the default config to email, facebook, twitter, more
# We have increased the size of the service icons from 24px to 32px because they are now loaded from an external server.
# The sharing settings also apply for the Html gallery

When using the E-mail sharing in the HTML gallery, the background of the text is white ... as is the foreground...
So, no typed text can be seen.
(I've not edited the css for html)

Just re-download the beta, or this file:
https://www.photo.gallery/demo/x2/iv-include ... e.html.css

This was fixed 15 minutes after the initial update.

I downloaded the beta and replaced all the '\iv-includes\assets\css\*.css' files... cleared the cache...
...but to no effect...
