Next image not loading correctly

09 Sep 2009, 14:57

I noticed that if i just click on next image (does not matter where in nemu, next to the picture) sometimes (10% reproduction ratio), typicaly when image size is changed from vertical to horizontal (tested with same image height) next image is not shown. Just narrow white bar that supposed to be a background. Then, I need to get back to thumbnail view to be able to see images again.

you can reproduce it it here:

go to New York gallery and just click on next with random intervals. You will encounter the problem quite soon.

I looped through your gallery twice without being able to reproduce the issue, but I dont have any reason to believe ti is not happening for you. I am not sure what can be the problem though - Can you recreate this in our demo gallery?

I also sometimes get this white vertical bar and only reload helps... Also similar ways when appears, changing /fast/ between photos with vertical and horizontal orrientation.

I think it is reproducible on Opera browser. Could you try on that one?

I can confirm that this also happening to me, and my clients as well. Not really you have to click it fast, it happens quite often in slideshow too, randomly though.

It is re-producable on the demo gallery too.

Happens on various browser - chrome, IE, and may be opera. Firefox seem to handle it pretty good though

You can't really click next or try to use any button, you will have to close it first by click the X button in the very far left, which is annoying

I too am having the same problem with my gallery. The issue occurs in both IE and Chrome. It only seems to happen with .flv and not with photos. I have created thumbnails for each of the videos instead of using the default.

Seems we are getting a lot of mixed responses here for the cause - browser, video, aspect ...

We will try to smoke out this issue ...

Is there any update to this issue. This is the last issue to resolve before I make my gallery available for use.

Thanks.

Just tell your visitor to use firefox instead (e.g this site requires Flash and Firefox for best experience, for example)

Nobody changes browser because a website tells you to. At best they would leave the site.

No, this is an issue that seems to pop up once in a while, and Im not sure its simply browser-specific. As I have said, we will be looking into this ...

It happens sometimes on chrome, not sure about IE and Opera though.
