Can't write to file content/concoursen/folderdata.xml

23 Jan 2009, 06:23

You can disable this notification from admin config, and your gallery will still work,
but it will run much faster if you set permissions!

4. Set folder permissions/chmod
Before you can enjoy gallery management from the admin, you will need to set permissions for your folders so that the admin page can freely create and delete files/folders, and manage themes/configurations and users. For brief instructions on how to set permissions, please see the set permissions instructions for the previous version. You will need to give full permissions(chmod 777 on linux) to the following files and folders:

{yourgallery}/imagevue/config/* - Allows the admin to edit config and theme files.
{yourgallery}/content/* - Allows the admin to manage files and folders in the content folder

Optional:
{yourgallery}/imagevue/themes/* - Allows the admin to edit CSS stylesheets in themes
{yourgallery}/imagevue/language/* - Allows the admin to edit languages and create new ones

* You must also set permissions on ALL file- and folderitems within the specified folders.
