At least maybe a guestbook?

Though this may also be beyond the scope for version 2, a client feedback area would be quite useful in my particular part of the woods.

Just for thought, not a big deal.

To me this would be crucial, since i'm using this to show portfolio and images to people. It wouldn't have to be anything crazy, just something that writes the comment - it wouldn't need to store it in a DB or anything, just like a guestbook or shoutbox.

I also think having a little rating system would be neat too. People could rate the image and have the 3 out of 5 stars or whatever show under the image info area.

These two main functions are the top priority for me because i'd like to get away from using sites like DeviantArt or whatever and gravitate to having it all site hosted. Since the functions like comments, and rating are the most used out of those sites, this would be crucial to moving people away from that and to my site more.

As it is now one probably could do something like this with a php include at the bottom right under the flash window but it wouldn't be integrated, and would kinda be a hack job.

I think this would be superfluous, if you need the guestbook, you should make it on your site, and them integrate the gallery in html.

That will be quite possible with new version, just maybe not right from the start, but can be added as a MOD

Yeah would be awesome... but
how would you manage it ?
Or just plain insertss which :
- log the message
- log the ip of the poster
- log the posters name

But what if someone else would also make a comment under the same name ? The you you wouls till have to find an option to dis allow this but what would be a superb option :

A comment system based on a forum database (Vbulletin , SMF , IPB)
or if not in use, use a file to make a log on ip base or such ...

Just brainstorming here though ... anyway really like the project and I'll keep a look out to its progress
