Im happy with my Canon EOS 350, but Im far from anything else than an amateur photographer :)

Perhaps I should set up a "camera & Photography" forum in here...

Canons tend to be good when shooting at high ISOs, which is what you'll need if you're taking pictures at night.

My two cents...

If budget is a concern but you know you want a digital slr... go cheap on the body, spend all your money on the glass (lenses)... you won't be sorry.

Not at all 8) It seriously occurred to me that since atleast 50% of the Imagevue users are photographers, maybe atleast a single forum should be dedicated to this category.
